Safety Precautions when Using a Baby Swing
A Fisher Price cradle swing is generally a safe place to leave your baby in when you need to do some chores around the house. But that does not mean that you should not take the necessary safety precautions when sung the swing.
Firstly, never leave your baby in the swing when you are elsewhere in the house. You must always be able to see the swing and your baby from where you are. If you need to work outside, set the swing with your baby near you rather than leaving him alone in the house.
Secondly, always use the safety harness provided. A 5-point safety harness is best although many swings also come with a 3-point harness. Use your common sense to ensure that your baby will be safe and secure while the swing is in motion.
Thirdly, when folding and re-setting your swing, always make sure that the frame is sturdy with all the foldable parts locked in place before putting your baby in it.
